Founded by professional dancer, Jacqui Kingswell, who once worked alongside international artists such as Beyonce, One Direction and Ricky Martin, The Pilates Class offers a library of Pilates Classes including barre, cardio & more! With new classes published weekly, pre and postnatal essential classes, men’s stretch and classes available at beginner, intermediate, and experienced level options, Jacqui’s mission is to offer transformative practices that you can do for your body and helps you to create sustainable and lasting change.

Tell us about you! How long have you been doing Pilates? How did you get started?

I started dance at age 3 and eventually spent 9 years of my professional career touring the world as a professional dancer. I began Pilates at the age of 12. My ballet teacher at the time, introduced Pilates to our performing arts school to help enhance our performance and ability as dancers. It completely transformed my strength, control and connection to my body and mind and was something I always practise on a day to day basis as part of my dance training. It was a practice that completely changed my alignment, performance and mental state. It was also a practice that was sustainable, kind and served my body and mind. It completely changed my life and I wanted to share my experience and knowledge with others- after 9 years travelling as a professional dancer, I stopped touring and started teaching pilates and haven’t looked back since!
