Seeking a very veggie voyage? Leaning vegetarian when cruising is now easy-peasy.

Whether for ethical, health, or environmental reasons — or all of the above — many people eat plant-based dishes exclusively, or are simply including more such meals in their diets. Today, most ships step up to the plate, promising imaginative — and yes, even trendy — fare every bit as delightful as what we gobble ashore. Here's the scoop on a perfect plant-filled sail.

It’s About Thyme

Oceania Cruises recently revealed new menus with more plant-forward dishes to captivate diners in The Grand Dining Room and Terrace Café from breakfast through dinner. No matter how lengthy the sail, consider epicurean boredom an impossibility: Oceania’s glam plant-based dishes hopscotch the globe, with Greek, Middle Eastern, Korean, and Malaysian flavors among the bold exotic selections. (In specialty restaurants, guests can request vegetarian meals.)
