Over the past year, I placed how tech continues to change and shape our lifestyles under much scrutiny. With a keener lens, we all saw how tech has made our lives better, more convenient, and more comfortable, sure; but it also had an undeniable negative effect on our mental and physical health and social connections, among other aspects of our lives.
As a new year begins—the start of a new 20s decade at that—let’s reflect on our relationship with gadgets and technology. Then let’s make resolutions to improve the habits we’ve developed around tech to hopefully have better, more meaningful lives and relationships in the year to come. Sharing with you my tech-related New Year’s resolutions, in the hopes you’ll join me in observing them:
1. Detox your digital life.
