DVDs are still a popular way of watching content and more consumers are embracing the combo TV and DVD player as they come in a variety of sizes and entry-level prices.

Streaming platforms like Stan and Netflix change their content on a monthly basis so sometimes a favourite movie or TV show has an expiry date, whereas the classic DVD doesn’t disappear after two months.
