6 apps that come to life in iPadOS 14
These great apps take full advantage of iPadOS 14’s new features

iPadOS 14 adds some great new features that apps can include to make them easier to use and more useful in a wider variety of situations. At the more subtle end, Apple is encouraging apps to use a new sidebar interface for making it simpler to see what more complex apps can do. But one of the biggest features is Scribble support, which enables you to use Apple Pencil to handwrite into text fields or make copyable written notes. And the new approach to widgets allows many apps to create new ways to see what’s happening from the Home screen.

The Everyday Habit Tracker app takes advantage of the new rich widgets on iPadOS 14 and is designed to help you achieve those things you’re trying to improve on consistently. Maybe it’s exercise, maybe it’s work–related, maybe it’s learning something… Whatever it is, having the widget visible on the Home screen helps drive you to do it daily.
