If you feel tech is getting out of hand and becoming more complicated than it’s worth, Pure’s Evoke H6 Prestige Edition is a welcome exception. It’s delightfully easy to use. Just plug it in and it automatically scans for local DAB digital radio stations. When it’s done, the first station on its new found list is played. Want to change stations? Just twist the dial marked ‘Select’ and push it in when you find the station you want. The other dial is Volume and pushing it in mutes and unmutes the sound. To switch between DAB, FM radio, Auxiliary sound (any sound source plugged into the back of the device) and Bluetooth, just tap the Source button and use the Select dial again. It’s so intuitive you’ll master its controls within a minute of turning it on, without going anywhere near the instructions.
