iPAD: REFINING THE WORLD'S MOST POPULAR TABLET
iPad has long been one of Apple’s most successful product categories, and following upgrades to the iPad Pro and iPad mini earlier in the year, Apple used its September Event to unveil the next-generation iPad and iPad Air, taking its tablet portfolio to even greater heights.

THE MOST POWERFUL iPAD AIR

The star of the show at this year’s Time Flies event was undoubtedly the all-new iPad Air, reimagined from the ground up to offer a stunning user experience on a larger 10.9-inch display, ideal for multitasking. Apple calls the new iPad its most “powerful, versatile, and colorful” yet, with Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, praising the device’s “gorgeous new all-screen design, Liquid Retina display, Touch ID, and a massive boost in performance with A14 Bionic. “The new iPad Air brings customers powerful pro features at an even more affordable price” he said of the new iPad Air model during the keynote presentation. Bringing the Air model in line with the iPad Pro, Apple’s tablet lineup is now stronger than ever, offering consumers more ways to work and play.

Perhaps one of the most striking features of the new iPad Air is its new thin and light design, that’s available in five stunning finishes: silver, space gray, rose gold, green, and sky blue. The company has transformed the experience by moving the home button to the power button, bringing the iPad Air in line with the iPad Pro, albeit without Face ID. This new all-screen design with a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display means that the iPad features 3.8 million pixels and advanced technologies, like full lamination, P3 wide color support, True Tone, and an anti-reflective coating, making the iPad Air the ideal companion when you’re on the go or at home with your family. Moving the Touch ID sensor into the top button was also a smart move from the company, allowing users access to the same fast, easy, and secure Touch ID system - ideal for Apple Pay and logging into apps - without the need for the large bezels iPad has become famous for. Slimming down the appearance of the iPad not only unlocks more screen real estate, but creates an immersive browsing experience, ideal for gaming, watching Apple TV+, or making notes. Combined with the floating Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil, the Air is a genuine alternative to the iPad Pro, offering an affordable, cutting-edge piece of glass.
