For more than 30 years, Rolex has been a partner of the LPGA, serving as its Official Timekeeper, including the five women’s Majors. From the Solheim Cup, the premier team event, to the LPGA’s top awards and Tour players; Rolex is a committed and enduring supporter of women’s golf.

In 2014, just a year after The Evian Championship became a Major, the Rolex ANNIKA Major Award (RAMA) was established to recognise the player who, during a current LPGA Tour season, has the most outstanding Major championship record. With Rolex and 10-time major winner Annika Sorenstam to its name, the award fittingly honours the exceptional achievement of its winners.

This year, Rolex Rankings number one Jin Young Ko of South Korea deservedly won this Award after a stellar season that saw her pick up wins at the ANA Inspiration and The Evian Championship her first two career major championship victories - and an impressive third-place finish at the AIG Women’s British Open.

The 24-year-old Ko joins Michelle Wie (2014), Inbee Park (2015), Lydia Ko (2016), So Yeon Ryu (2017) and Ariya Jutanugarn (2018) as winners of the prestigious award, which will be presented to Ko at the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship in November.
