Billings became the first man to score two hundreds in a County Championship match at Emerald Headingley with 138 and 122 not out as Kent secured a landslide 433-run victory over Yorkshire.
The 26-year-old played his part as a number of records tumbled. Kent’s win, secured just before lunch on day four, was their largest ever in terms of runs, while it was Yorkshire’s heaviest runs defeat.
On day one, Billings and double centurion Darren Stevens helped Kent to recover from 39-5 to post 482-8, sharing 346 – the highest sixth-wicket partnership at Headingley.
