Defending champions Mumbai Indians and runners-up Chennai Super Kings will be among the top contenders for the crown this time. SURPRISE AT THE TOP

It is in fact Kolkata Knight Riders who enjoy the tag of the team with the most successive triumphs. KKR’s unbeaten run stretched from May 7, 2014, to April 8, 2015, as they won 10 games on a trot.
