Even as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) arrived at the not-so coincidental tentative date for the Indian Premier League season 13, the IPL franchises’ reluctance to go ahead with only Indian cricketers is obviously a bottom-line decision.
The BCCI would like the franchises to cop blame on this one. However, the truth is that both of them are not really willing to undertake an IPL season where a huge stake of their investment is absent.
