Steve Smith is no doubt the best batsman when it comes to Test cricket. After serving a 12-month ban for ball-tampering, the Australian star batsman defined the Ashes 2019 with 774 runs. It was his heroics that helped the visitors draw the Test series 2-2 and retain the urn. Smith, who has been likened to the legendary Don Bradman in Tests, is quite the leader in the format. With an average of 64.56, Smith is the more complete showman in Test cricket. He has 6,973 runs from 68 Test matches.
