CELTIC FOOTBALL CLUB PRESENTS: THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

LAST Friday, Celtic Football Club kicked off the Christmas celebrations in presenting the 2020 Celtic FC Christmas advert: The Night Before Christmas.
CELTIC FOOTBALL CLUB PRESENTS: THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

At times like these, it’s more important than ever to spread joy to those around us, and we hope, with a little help from the Hoops that we can do just that for you!

In conjunction with the release of this year’s advert, the club has again reiterated its commitment to helping those in need by making a special £10,000 gift to two very special Mental Health charities, The Roch Talk Project and Glasgow’s Golden Generation.

Celtic FC Foundation’s Football for Good initiative has already distributed around £1MILLION of support to those affected by the pandemic, and today’s donation builds on this magnificent work and continues our support in this hugely important area.

This season, our Bhoys are heroes on and off the pitch as they set out help a very special key worker to save Christmas. Along the way they are helped as always by their team mates who take up the reigns in more ways than one…

Based on the well-known Christmas Poem ‘The Night Before Christmas’, we hope this year’s story brings great joy to our supporters at a time when we know they need it most.

The star at the top of the stadium sets our first scene, with our star striker Odsonne looking down the Celtic Way where our story begins… Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie magically appear as if in a dream, and our Christmas Eve adventure gets underway!

After Santa crashes his sleigh and drops the ‘Naughty and Nice’ book, the Bhoys make it their mission to find him and return the book, to help save Christmas! With the Celtic crest at the heart of our story, the pair are transported always just one step behind Santa as he prepares for the big night ahead.
