After 10 years, Chris Froome could be set to leave Ineos in a mid-season transfer. Conflicting reports emerged last week that the four-time Tour de France winner may be looking for a new home for his talents.
Cyclingnews reported last week that the Brit, who is out of contract at the end of 2020, was in discussions with teams over a possible mid-season transfer. Ineos declined to comment when approached by Cycling Weekly but La Gazzetta Dello Sport quoted an unnamed Ineos source as describing the story as “fake news”.
