ABBY MAE PARKINSON
Already the beginning of May and I should be writing a resume of my Classics season and definitely thinking about my break before the second part of the season commences.
Obviously, that’s not been the case and I am still here in Yorkshire where actually the sunshine has graced us with its presence, I didn’t think it was possible to ride in shorts and jersey in April.
Or at least it was until the clouds rolled in this week. Northern weather resumed, thermal wear has made a reappearance along with multiple Zwift sessions which I do enjoy every now and again. I’ve even managed to get my dad signed up to Zwift so we will see how that goes next week – that’s if it hasn’t induced a thrombosis after his first session. I’ve planned a simple FTP test for him to erm… enjoy. I am sure he thinks it’s like an in-depth health questionnaire, so he’s in for a shock.
