My long-cherished desire of spotting the Himalayan snow leopard was finally fulfilled at the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary, in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh.

Amazingly, we spotted not one but three snow leopards in the very first leg of our trek. The bone-chilling, snow-laden trek we made in -30° Celsius was absolutely worth it.
