MISSION: Produce a visual diary during self-isolation and social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic

KIT: Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II and EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM lenses, Sigma 15-30mm f/3.5-4.5 DG EX Aspherical IF lens, Elinchrom D-Lite 2 flash heads and various coloured gels

I grew up around cameras and have always loved photography. Being a bit of an introvert, my camera would do the talking for me! I used to shoot a lot of architecture, and always tried to avoid portraiture because it involves interacting face-to-face with people I do not know.

And then COVID-19 turned everyone’s world upside down. Suddenly, I could not go out to take pictures of all those beautiful buildings that London has aplenty and I was stuck inside my flat, luckily with another human, Silchris!
