Capture a single subject from different angles

Here is the first important thing you need to learn and improve. Start with choosing a single subject and try capturing it from different angles. This will help you expand the boundaries of your creativity and give you a better understanding of perfect light. It will give a new perspective to look at your subject in different ways. The first few angles might be easy and the last few angles tougher, but they will add a new perspective to your image.

A few great angles to try:

• Shoot on eye level of your subject.

• Shoot from above the subject if you can.

• Try a lower angle if possible and shoot upwards.

Capture something you normally avoid

This tip is all about getting you out of your comfort zone and trying new things. You will never grow as a photographer, if you don’t get out of your comfort zone. So, here’s what one can do:

Think about the subjects that you like to capture all the time and then pick a subject that’s completely different and try capturing it from various angles. If you normally capture flowers, try capturing birds for a day. If you like capturing macro, try landscape for a day. If you want to make this tip extra valuable, then don’t just capture another subject for a day. Instead, do it for a week or month. This will allow you to learn more and enhance your skill-set out of your comfort zone.

Carry a single lens while you go
