What to look for?
Monsoon offers different subjects to experiment with and one can always shoot beautiful landscapes, environmental portraits, storytelling pictures, action shots and plethora of things that can be done. You just have to keep your eyes wide open and try to capture ubiquitous things around.
If you take a break from the city life and look around the countryside, you will manage to take some good environmental portraits that have a good story. Look for good colour contrast in your frame which will enhance the beauty of the frame.
Look for Reflections
Observing small things and their details makes you a good photographer. One of the easiest opportunities that a rainy day offers is to observe small puddles and wet surfaces everywhere. Start observing things which will bring out interesting perspectives. Attempt capturing frames which will reflect architecture, people and details from the surroundings. You can also create a balanced composition by capturing the subject as well as its reflection.
