Pharmacist booked for cheating

A pharmacist who had offered to sell three Remdesivir injections to the family of a Covid-19 patient at an inflated price was booked by Panjagutta police on Tuesday. Police said the pharmacist had demanded ₹63,000 for each injection while the MRP is ₹ 5,400. “...Through one of my friends, I came to know that one pharmacy was selling it. I rushed to the pharmacy... After some time, the seller handed over three injections for ₹ 63,000 outside the shop,’’ the complainant said. The pharmacist has been booked under section 420 (cheating) of the IPC.
