Oppn Intensifies Agitation, Skips House For 2nd Day
New Delhi: From silent protests to sloganeering and marching from the statue of Mahatma Gandhi to that of BR Ambedkar inside Parliament House complex, opposition MPs on Wednesday ramped up their agitation against the Modi government over the passage of farm bills and promised to intensify their protests after returning to their states.

Most opposition MPs boycotted proceedings in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha for the second consecutive day on Wednesday against suspension of eight members for “unruly behaviour” in the upper House on Sunday when the bills were passed by voice vote. MPs of Congress, Trinamool Congress, CPI, CPM, DMK, RJD, AAP, Samajwadi Party and NCP were among those who participated in the protests.
