No More Rain This Month, Monsoon To Bid Quiet Adieu
New Delhi: Scientists at India Meteorological Department (IMD) have forecast no rainfall in the remaining days of September. The maximum and minimum temperatures are also expected to increase by one degree for the next few days. The date of monsoon withdrawal would be declared by the end of the month.

Though IMD had earlier predicted light rainfall on Tuesday and Wednesday, a scientist said only Jafarpur received 0.44 mm of rainfall on Tuesday. No rainfall was recorded till Wednesday evening. However, there was a possibility of very light rain or drizzle at night.
