An expert panel under the Indian Council of Medical Research has proposed using willing recovered Covid-19 patients as volunteers in isolation and quarantine centres and Covid care centres as part of an epidemiological exercise.

To begin with, the cured coronavirus patients could be used in isolation and quarantine centres in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, sources privy to the development said.
