Telangana RTC Employees Call Off Strike After 52 Days
But corporation says staff cannot resume duties as per their ‘whims and fancies’

The TSRTC Joint Action Committee (TSRTC JAC) leaders called off their 52day strike on Monday evening. Giving a call to the employees to resume duties from 6 a.m. on Tuesday, they have requested temporary drivers and conductors, who have been offering services during the strike period, to stop attending to duties.

“We request the State government to refer our issues to the Labour Court and provide peaceful conditions for us to work. We submitted a letter to the government and the Corporation management stating the requests. But we did not get any response,” TSRTC JAC convener E. Ashwathama Reddy said.
