NEW DELHI: India on Thursday witnessed the biggest jump in daily Coronavirus count with 9,304 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours. The total number of Coronavirus cases in the country climbed to 2,16,919.
While Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu continued to record a high number of COVID-19 cases, Delhi saw the biggest spike in cases count in a single day.
With 260 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the fatalities from Coronavirus pandemic crossed the 6,000-mark as the total tally rose to 6,075.
The country reported total 1,04,107 recoveries at the rate of 47.99 per cent and 3,804 new patients got cured in a single day on Thursday.
