NEW DELHI: As the Central government continued to insist that there is more than enough protective equipment available for healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 battle, data from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has now shown that at least 1,135 healthcare workers across the nation have contracted the disease after attending to COVID-19 patients without adequate protective gear.
