It was not such an inspiring day for Indian women wrestlers at the KD Jadhav indoor stadium as none of the big names managed to live up to their reputation on the fourth day of the Asian Championships here on Friday.
On Thursday, India won three gold medals and there were hopes that two gold medals would be a certainty for Vinesh Phogat (53kg) and Sakshi Malik (65kg). However, Vinesh managed to win barely a bronze and Sakshi ended up with a silver.
