‘Olympics Still On'
Vijender says he is in talks with BFI and would love to represent India again

Professional boxing was never so high profile and talked about in India until Olympic medallist Vijender Singh took the plunge after a stellar amateur career. It’s a stage that provides a combination of money and fame.

However, deep inside his heart, he still wants to represent India.

Speaking to MAIL TODAY, Vijender on Sunday once again expressed his desire to play in 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Few months back, while speaking to the paper, the boxer had revealed that he is willing to return to the amateur ring at the 2020 Olympics and will “love” to fight for a gold medal in Tokyo. Even the Boxing Federation of India (BFI) wanted to welcome him but with conditions.
