The Centre plans to hire an agency to document all measures taken by ministries in the fight against coronavirus and also the lessons learnt during the pandemic. The collected data will serve as ‘ready reckoner’ for similar calamities in the future.
The proposed agency will collate data and material related to the mitigation and management of Covid-19. In a letter written to all ministries, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), said a Request for Proposal (RFP) to hire a ‘Knowledge Management Agency’ will be issued.
