RANGERS legend Ally McCoist believes there will be “an asterisk” against Celtic’s ninein-a-row if they are awarded the Premiership title.
Neil Lennon’s (inset) side were 13 points clear at the top of the table when Scottish football was shut down but had not mathematically secured the title.
An SPFL resolution means they could be awarded a ninth title in a row based on points per game if the season cannot be finished.
But Rangers’ top-scorer of all time doesn’t think that should happen – because he wants to see them given the chance to win it on the pitch.
