Virus Patients Go Home In Buses And Cabs

Positive Covid-19 patients are going home from hospital in taxis and on buses.

Family members are afraid to bring home relatives who have the virus but don’t need a hospital bed. The claims were made by a seriously ill patient at James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Dublin as 10 more people in Ireland died, bringing the number of victims to 46.

The patient remains in isolation fighting the virus. She said: “It’s very worrying. People are getting released but family members won’t pick them up. They are afraid they will catch the virus. It’s going to keep on spreading.”

The patient revealed the deep fears and anxiety in the isolation wards.
