Elaine Crowley revealed she has come off Twitter due to an onslaught of nasty comments.
The host of Virgin Media’s The Elaine Show has been open about her battle with mental health in the past.
She said: “I didn’t want to expose myself to that.”
Talking about her decision to take a step back from social media earlier this year, Elaine, 42, said: “It is complete self-preservation. Some people can be so nasty and mean and I didn’t want to expose myself to that anymore.
