Former Boss Questions FAI Appointments

Four key positions were filled last month – but only existing FAI employees could put themselves forward.

Mark Scanlon was promoted to League of Ireland director from his brief running the colleges and universities arm of the association.

Rea Walshe was reappointed to the role of Chief Operations Officer having had to interview for her own job.

Mark Russell became the new Commercial and Marketing Director.

And Ger McDermott is the new Head of Grassroots having previously served as Club and League Development Manager.
