Normal People star Paul Mescal struggled with acting in college and nearly walked out on a career that could earn him millions.
While the 24-year-old is currently flying high on the back of the show’s runaway success, he claims he almost threw in the towel.
The Co Kildare star said: “There was a period in first year in drama school and I felt like I just wasn’t getting it.
“In sport you can train lots and generally you are going to get it.
