Sultan Orders Establishment Of Cloud Rest On Mountains
The Works Department has also completed the construction works of Al Zubarah Park on an area of 2,350 square metres

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed the establishment of the Cloud Rest on the Khorfakkan’s mountains at an altitude of 580 metres above sea level. Through the rest that has been scheduled to be opened next October, it will be possible to see the city of Khorfakkan from all directions.

This was announced on Monday during the “Direct Line” programme broadcast on Sharjah TV and Radio.

It is noteworthy that there are several projects completed recently and others being carried out in the city of Khorfakkan. Among those completed projects are Lulayyah Park on an area of 1,200 square metres, at a total cost of Dhs1.3 million. It included a grass playground, a children’s play area, and a service building, with installation of energy-saving lighting poles. The Works Department also completed the construction works of Al Zubarah Park, on an area of 2,350 square metres, at a cost of one million dirhams, providing it with all amenities and entertainment.
