David Coulthard expects to see Lewis Hamilton on the pace this weekend – despite seven months without racing.

The F1 season will finally get underway in Austria after the traditional Australia season opener in March was axed at the 11th hour because of the coronavirus crisis.

Hamilton has used his time since then to campaign against racism and for greater diversity in the sport but now he turns his attention back to his pursuit for history.

Mercedes’ six-time world champion can equal Michael Schumacher’s record of seven and is only eight wins away from becoming the sport’s most successful race winner.
