IT IS five years to the day since Floyd Mayweather Jnr outboxed Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas in the richest fight in history.
It is also five years since most of the world slammed the £350m super-fight as a borefest. And here is why they were wrong.
It was no blood-spilling thriller, that is for sure.
Some even roared, ‘Look at their faces’ after the fight as if neither man having gashes and swellings the size of small rocks was evidence they hadn’t been in a battle.
Some of those are the same people who question why boxing is allowed to exist when tragedy occurs in the ring.
