EOIN MORGAN has told Alex Hales he must wait a bit longer for an England recall.
Hales was booted out of England’s World Cup camp last year following revelations he had served a 21-day ban for a second recreational drugs offence – something his team-mates knew nothing about.
That breakdown in trust was the last straw and not only cost the batsman his place in the victorious ODI squad, but a spot in any England squad since then.
World Cup-winner Chris Woakes said last week that it might be time to welcome Hales back into the fold.
