This weekend Scotland should have been the focus of the UK’s music scene with BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend event in Dundee and dance festival Riverside in Glasgow.
Both were cancelled because of the coronavirus. Well, not quite.
Both are still going on today, with artists live-streaming their sets.
The Big Weekend will today see the likes of Sam Smith, Blossoms and Doja Cat and tomorrow the line-up includes Biffy Clyro, Jonas Brothers, Rita Ora and Ellie Goulding.
There will also be a Headliner stage featuring legendary performances from past Big Weekends, including Katy Perry’s 2014 set from Glasgow.
