Trump's Firm ‘Trousers Golf Furlough Cash'

US President Donald Trump’s firm has been accused of “trousering” furlough cash meant to protect jobs while it plans to axe dozens of staff at its flagship Scottish resort.

The Trump Organisation is slashing costs due to a sharp fall in international visitors to the five-star Turnberry Hotel in Ayrshire.

The RMT union says 80 jobs are at risk out of a workforce of 300, with staff kept on now facing changes to their terms and conditions.

Consultation over the proposals ends on Sunday.
