Older Hubby Is Gutted I'm Pregnant

Dear Coleen I’m pregnant with my first child and I’m over the moon about it. However, my husband, who has two grown-up kids from his first marriage, is clearly not happy about another baby coming along and he doesn’t even try to hide it.

He’s been so self-indulgent, whingeing about how he’s already done the “baby thing” and didn’t think he’d be doing it again at his age and how it’s going to affect “his” life.

He’s 15 years older than I am and he knew when we got together that I wanted children and he didn’t object, although he was never enthusiastic. Maybe he just didn’t think it would happen.
