The mum of Alesha MacPhail has asked her family and friends to “light up” social media with happy memories of her daughter ahead of the anniversary of her death.
Georgina Lochrane hopes the move will help ease the pain of the milestone on Thursday, which marks two years since the six-year-old, from Airdrie, was murdered on the Isle of Bute.
