When it comes to searching for a new job, it seems there is no limit to the lengths some job seekers will go to in the hope of jazzing up their CV.
A survey from commercial property agents SavoyStewart.co.uk asked more than 2300 people what steps they had taken in the past to secure themselves a new job.
They were stunned to find 39 per cent admitted they had lied on their CV. Of those who lied, 79 per cent said they had got the job, suggesting the lie had gone unnoticed.
