Animal rights group plans roadside memorial to 70 pigs killed in accident

AN ANIMAL rights group wants to erect a roadside memorial to 70 pigs who were killed in a lorry crash.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) has written to East Lothian Council seeking planning permission for a tombstone for the creatures which perished in the smash.
