Stephen Maguire says the presence of fans at the Masters will have his nerves jangling but it’s a buzz he’s bursting for.

All of this season’s World Snooker Tour events have been staged behind closed doors at Milton Keynes’ Marshall Arena, including this week’s UK Championship.

But the UK government announced on Monday that limited numbers will be allowed back into indoor events in England depending on which tier venues are in.

And the WST is desperate for fans to make a long-awaited return at London’s Ally Pally for January’s Masters.

Maguire, who hammered 15-year-old Iulian Boiko 6-1 yesterday in the first round of the UK Championship, said: “Get the fans back.
