Murdered gangster enjoyed drink with man suspected of his slaughter

A Chilling photo has emerged showing murdered gangster Omar Sadiq enjoying a night out with the man suspected of killing him – and the getaway driver.

The picture, taken earlier this year, shows Sadiq and two other men happily enjoying drinks together at a table.

But a fallout among Glasgow gangsters saw him targeted by the same pair in a deadly attack in the Pollok area of the city two weeks ago.

The image shows Sadiq sitting at the left of the photo, while the man sources say stabbed him to death sits on the right.

A third man, pictured in the middle of the shot, is suspected of being the driver of the getaway car that helped his killer flee the scene of the bloody murder.

A underworld source, who gave the photo to the Daily Record, said: “Just shows, you can be sitting with your murderer and not even know it.”
