Chris Silverwood is worried England’s Jos Buttler and Jofra Archer will push themselves to the limit with nearly five months in biosecure lockdown.
The pair have been in the bubble long ger than any other players during a gruelling summer haviing featured in Tests, T20s and one-day internationals.
And this weekend they will swap one for another in the Indian Premier League when they join up with Rajasthan Royals for the T20 showpiece in the United Arab Emirates.
Silverwood said the management team have discussed their concerns with all England’s IPL players and will keep in regular contact to ensure no one is suffering mental or physical fatigue.
But he feels that for those who have been with England all the way this summer in all three squads could rack up nearly five months in lockdown from June to November.
