DONALD Trump is the “Freddy Krueger” of US politics and could pull off another victory against-the odds next month, despite trailing to Joe Biden in most opinion polls, his former communications director has told the Daily Express.
Anthony Scaramucci – nicknamed “The Mooch” – believes his former boss could be “resoundingly beaten” by Mr Biden. But he warned the 77-year-old Democrat to remain focused right up until the election on November 3.
He said Mr Trump is like “Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street, the Nightmare on Pennsylvania Avenue of American politics.”
He said: “Just when you think he’s in the last scene, with 14 days to go, you cannot write him off.
