Dr. Muhammad Khan, 55, would grope the women at work and make smutty remarks about them in his native language during operations.
He also had a “trademark” habit of sneaking up behind them, pressing himself against their backsides and making suggestive groaning noises.
He squeezed one assistant’s breast and slapped a nurse on the bottom, telling her she “liked it”.
The consultant orthopaedic surgeon was sacked from Barnsley District Hospital over the incidents between 2006 and 2013.
He stood trial for sexual assault but was acquitted by a jury. But he was reported to the General Medical Council and after a hearing last week was found guilty of sexually-motivated misconduct involving three women.
The doctor originally from Natal, South Africa, began working at the hospital in 1995.
He was promoted to Clinical Director for Orthopaedics in 2010.
