DOCTOR Who and The Last Of The Mohicans star Maurice Roeves has died aged 83.
‘Softie' who played TV hard men dies aged 83

Born in Sunderland, the EastEnders actor was brought up in Glasgow and built a reputation for playing villains and hard men in a career spanning six decades.

The star played the mercenary Stotz in the classic Doctor Who series in 1984 and Vince Diver in Tutti Frutti.

Film credits include The Eagle Has Landed, Oh! What A Lovely War, a Romulan captain in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Judge Dredd and The Damned United.
